Square Enix is planning a Lufia revival with Estpolis: The Lands Cursed by the Gods. Estpolis is the Japanese name for the Lufia series. Famitsu reports the original Lufia staff has been summoned to develop the new work.
Freakin awesome. I loved Lufia 2. Part of my childhood gaming memories. The music, the characters, even the frustrating puzzles(hate you so much shrine block puzzle)With the original Lufia staff? I am in glee.
And on another note, I need to stop posting only like one a month or once every two months.
Also watching A Certain Scientific Railgun, if only for KurokoxMisaka and the lol lesbian overtones.
Yes, I know it's not going to happen(Misaka and Kuroko) because of Touma and that Kuroko is obsessive, but I don't care. Do shippers need logic?

The show's run is ending, Grant explains, because no one — not the station, not PBS, not the Corporation for Public Broadcasting — will put up the several hundred thousand dollars needed to renew the show's broadcast rights. Grant says that PBS, CPB and the Department of Education put significant funding toward programming that would teach kids how to read — but that's not what Reading Rainbow was trying to do. "Reading Rainbow taught kids why to read," Grant says. "You know, the love of reading — [the show] encouraged kids to pick up a book and to read." Since then, she explains, research has shown that teaching the mechanics of reading should be the network's priority.
WTF. Isn't it better for the kids to start reading because they find out it's fun through a show. The mechanics are important, but how are you going to entice them to read through the mechanics? As a kid I would rather punch myself with forced reading.
Another childhood thing gone, just like Mr. Rogers. I loled when some parents blamed the Mr. Rogers show that the show said that every single person was special as who they are; some parents feel that it made their kids feel self-entitled to stuff they didn't earn, or made them egotistic.

So I tried the Street fighter 4 benchmark. I could do full screen with everything at high quality at a stable 60fps. It's really weird, since a couple weeks ago I could barely do the minimum screen size at low quality for Fallout 3, and it still chugged when more than a couple people on the screen were at the same stop. |

Haven't been posting lately. Had crappy health reasons.
Been playing Devil Survivor non stop for around 5 hours a day. It's addicting, surprising since I thought "lol fake ds summoning demons game" cash in. |

I really wanted to like this. But meh story, REALLY bad characters that are way too anime cliched, and character interation is ugh. Made me really appreciate Tales of Vesperia so much more.
So off to ebay you go game! And I am going to Sakuracon, but too lazy to cosplay. Should really do it though. |

Also, been playing Clannad. It's okay, but it takes a while to get into. Maybe I am starting to get sick of these kinda games? |
